How we help

A local starting point for your family

We’re not a franchise and we’re not a call center. We’re based in Vero Beach, and we help families find the right local providers — starting with a free conversation.

1

Tell us what’s happening

Two minutes on our short questionnaire, or just call us. A real person listens — no phone tree, no ticket number.

2

We point you to local providers

We point you to Vero Beach-area providers that fit your situation, You get a short list of local options that fit, not a phone book.

3

You choose — we stay close

You decide who’s the right fit, and your arrangement is directly with them. Questions along the way? Call us — not a 1-800 number.

Questions families ask us

How much does it cost to use Help My Parents?

Nothing. Our help is free for families — that’s the whole point.

Do you employ the caregivers and providers yourselves?

No. We’re connectors, not a staffing agency. We introduce you to independent local providers, and your arrangement is directly with them. That keeps things simple and honest.

Are the providers you point families to vetted or endorsed?

We keep a working list of independent local providers across six categories — home care, transportation, meals, home maintenance, home watch, and downsizing & moving. They’re independent businesses, not our employees, and being on our list isn’t an endorsement. We encourage every family to check reviews, licenses, and references before hiring anyone.

I don’t even know what my parents need. Can you still help?

That’s the most common starting point. Choose “I’m not sure where to start” in the questionnaire, tell us what you’re noticing, and we’ll help you sort out what kind of help fits.

Is this for emergencies?

No. If your parent needs urgent medical help, call 911. We’re here for planning, ongoing support, and everything that keeps life running smoothly day to day.

My parents don’t live right in Vero Beach. Is that okay?

Probably. We serve Vero Beach and nearby communities — see our service areas. When in doubt, just ask.

Beyond local providers

Sometimes the right help is a product

We point families to local people for hands-on help. For the products families buy themselves — monitored alert buttons, simpler phones, home-safety gear — we keep a separate recommendations page that matches products to what your parent is dealing with.
