Help My Parents Vero Beach (“we”) is a local service and starting point for families caring for aging parents in the Vero Beach, Florida area. We are operated by Web Ventures. You can reach us at (772) 280-4566.
When you ask us to help connect you with providers, we may share the details of your request — your name, contact information, town, and what help you need — with local service providers who can help, so they can contact you about your request. Our forms state this before you submit, and submitting a request with the consent box checked is your permission for that sharing.
Some providers pay us a referral or lead fee when we connect them with a family. That is how this free-for-families service is supported. It does not change what you pay a provider; your arrangement is always directly with them.
We do not sell your information to data brokers or mailing lists, and we do not share it for advertising or marketing unrelated to your request. We may share information if required by law, or with the service companies that run our website and request system on our behalf, only as needed for them to do that work.
Product recommendations and affiliate links. Help My Parents recommends some products and services offered by other companies. If we enroll in a company's affiliate program and are approved, we may earn a commission when visitors buy through our recommendation links, at no additional cost to you. Until a program approves us, our recommendation links are ordinary links and earn nothing. To understand which recommendations are useful, we record limited information when a recommendation link is used: the partner, the product, where the link appeared on the page, the time, the destination, and whether that partner's affiliate program is active. Repeat clicks are identified with a coded value that changes daily so duplicates can be removed; we do not store your IP address in this recommendation tracker, and your recommendation-guide answers, name, email address, and phone number are never sent to it. Our website hosting and security providers may keep standard technical logs, as most websites do. When you follow a recommendation link, you leave our site, and the other company's own privacy and cookie policies apply.
Providers we may share your request with are independent local businesses. A referral is not an endorsement, and we do not guarantee any provider’s work, licensing, or availability. Please check reviews, licenses, and references before hiring anyone — our guides can help you ask the right questions.
You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Call us at (772) 280-4566 or send a note through the contact form on our home page and we’ll take care of it. If a provider we shared your request with contacts you and you want it to stop, tell them — and tell us, so we don’t send them your information again.
